There are many articles on the internet currently purported to have information as to Apostle Edu Udechukwu’s biography, but most are filled with inaccurate information. That is why we felt obligated to bring accuracy in journalling the history of the Angel of Revivalhub Family.

Early Childhood

Apostle Edu Udechukwu was born into a Christian home. His parents Rev Josiah and Pastor Mrs. Patricia Udechukwu were ministers of God and were overseers of a Church, Christ Assembly Holyghost Ministry located at their village in Akaboezem, Nnewi, Anambra State. He was brought up in the fear of God, At age 9, he came to a personal knowledge of Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He grew up loving to read and would oftentimes read the bible in the church in the Igbo translation. He rededicated his life to Christ at age 12 under the Student Christian Movement in the prestigious Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS) Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria.

Early Christian Life

Though He was born again, grounded in God’s word, a teacher in Sunday school, and a lover of God He had not yet received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, until he got admission into the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. On one of such days while invited to the lawn tennis court to pray, he knew that whatever this person had was something to be cherished as such he longed for it, as he recounts “Though, unlike others that were present that day, I didn’t show much vociferousness” but notes that the baptism of the Holy Spirit he received that night became the bedrock to his more profound quest and longings in the things of God, He began to explore the life of God that has been deposited within him in prayers and study. This formed a basis and the beginning of his prayer journey, as he cherishes and values this experience immensely.

Early Ministry

During his university days, he was yet again found serving under a man of God, Bishop Reverend Vincent Diolu who was called Revd Vin as at that time, the general overseer of Shekinah Assembly which has its headquarters located in Nsukka, Enugu state. Apostle Edu served under Revd Vincent throughout his six-year stay on the campus. He served under the ushering unit and later became the chief usher and he began to raise loyal and strong men through that platform, seeing his level of commitment and labor, he was also made the evangelism coordinator for the ministry and it was here that he prayed and trained himself the more, he began to take outreaches to all the hostels in the university. As he recounts he and the evangelism team took outreaches to all the hostels except one in the University of Nigeria and he was also found serving with Revd Vin at the Town Church and this he did for all the years he stayed in the university. Till he left for his youth service in 2014, he trained and served under Revd Vin Diolu.

The Call to Prayer

From a younger age, young Chinedu Joshua Udechukwu had already begun to have angelic encounters though he did not fully understand those encounters. In 2011 he got the emphasis of prayer as a calling and he began to Labour in prayers, praying for long hours every midnight at Lawn Tennis Court at his University. In 2014, He had an encounter with the Lord Jesus and that same year he also had an encounter with Apostle Arome who as he recounts distinctively pushed him to follow the path of prayer when the burden as a calling began. Apostle Edu Udechukwu also received Impartations and anointing into the ministry of his calling from Apostle Arome Osayi who has been his spiritual father till date.

As one who always thought he would serve under someone, he really didn’t desire to be a pioneer, he was sold out to each opportunity to serve but all the while the burden of the move of God had always been strong. He initially longed to go to Lagos and start a branch of his father’s church. He recounts “i had my bags packed’. Despite his plans and readiness, he lost his peace, a very difficult decision he made, it seemed that someone should start something in a place he grew up all his life, his village, where he had watched Ministries live and die not excluding his parents own, he recounts “I and God had to debate long on this”. Finally, he renounced the journey after much reluctance both stemming from his desire and the immediate pressure around him.

In 2017/2018, his initial followers were disbanded. During this time he went physically to submit under his spiritual father Apostle Arome Osayi where he stayed until the end of 2018. Like the church at Antioch in the eighth month of his sojourn he was separated and anointed for the work wherewith he was called unto the church under the leadership of his spiritual father.

In March 2019, Apostle Edu Udechukwu underwent a 21 days night vigil with his siblings and after the vigil, he was led to start weekly meetings. Birthpangs soon started the next month April and by September 2019 the first yearly conference, the International Sonship Conference (ISC) was held, and since then the mission to raise sons upon which the government of the kingdom has not ceased. This became the birth of the mandate of Revivalhub Ministries International.

Revivalhub Ministries International is a fellowship of Believers in Christ Jesus who desire to establish our Lord’s kingdom through the intense workings of the Holy Spirit in and through men.

In all, the faithfulness in little and consistency is one that characterizes the life of Apostle Edu Udechukwu, in his words “we have not even started, the labor is much, we can’t stop now, No No No No.”
